John Simmons can claim a notable 34 years in the industry, joining the Noland Company in 1986 as an Internal Auditor, later ascending to Manager of that group in a pattern that would repeat itself several times. He took on management of individual companies, including Chesapeake, Elizabeth City, and Kitty Hawk locations, later expanding his role as a Noland Regional Manager, then in 2005 as part of the Noland acquisition, he joined Winsupply as an Area Leader. As COO of the Noland Company, he continued to fulfill his AL responsibilities (which he still maintains) in addition to his current role as Vice President of Business Development.
